Ryan has acted in films such as “Once Upon A Time in America” with Robert de Niro before he turned to a music career and recorded his phenomenal hit Dolce Vita in the early 1980s. This song was composed, arranged and produced by Pierluigi Giombini and Dolce Vita was such a worldwide success for Ryan that he gained 12 Gold Discs, 2 Platinum and 2 Silver for it.

As a result of this Ryan appeared on Top of the Pops for the BBC, and performed in all major European TV shows. He also toured through the USA and played in jam sessions with legendary Al Jarreau and Stanley Clarke.

Ryan was honoured with best reviews in the English magazine “Face”.

Over time he has collaborated with the producers of Enigma, Snap, No Mercy, and Culture Beat and also produced songs for Coca-Cola. One of these,”Magic Fiesta”, was used in the radio advertising for Fanta in Switzerland.

Several years ago Ryan was recorded singing Dolce Vita especially for a remix made by cult rock Italian band Subsonica.

“I Wanna Love You Once Again” composed and sung by Ryan was a big success in all 80s radio which has lifted him high in the very popular now 80s scene.

Ryan released a new vinyl recording of “Parisienne Girl” and this proved to be a great success among the lovers of 80’s music.

He composes his own songs and records and performs them mainly in English, but also Italian, Spanish, French and more!
